A new year

I forgot to bring back my pomelo, all 5 of them... sob sob...

CNY come and CNY go. I went back hometown for a week, almost baked to death by the heat and come back 2kg fatter. Why I can put on 2kg when I didn't even invoke the maximum power of my appetite is beyond me. I must be one destined to grow fat just by breathing alone. Didn't even eat any of my 'long yoke' - bak kwa, cut down on soft drinks, cut down on all those sinful cookies, my nga gu and yet.... ai...

Just when I thought I should start back jogging, I slipped and fell on the way home from class, hit me butt and MC 2 days. Great way to start work. Probably could have MC longer but company distress call start coming in already...so will drag my big fat injured ass to work tomorrow.

On the up side, won 3 days in a row on Mah jong, and I wasn't even playing seriously. On the fourth day, I used my winnings to treat the whole family for breakfast, so when I win, everyone wins.

This year's angpow was more than last year too. By a few 10s maybe because last time I only get angpow from 1 continents, now I get angpow from 2 continents. Talk about expanding my market overseas. Ha HA Ha...

Also went visiting my dad, and it was so cooling and breezy. Told my sister, we should have bought a mat and take a nap with dad. This time we did it ala Christian style means some fruits and a bunch of flowers, instead of the usual joss stick and kfc. Pai seh to say I ate most of the food offerings we bought for dad. At least I leave the flowers alone. I am sure dad approve. He was forever trying to feed us when he was alive. Next visit will be his death anniversary. Maybe we do a KFC feast. Yum Yum!

When I was back in hometown, I caught this anime "Colourcloud Palace". Not bad, me reading the manga now and there is a verse that I would like to share:

"Lonely doesn't mean you are alone. Sometimes you feel lonely because the one you want is not with you..."
